Options to Get the Whole Family Active
Customize your set with the optional slide, monkey bars, or upgraded two front posts. The slide is a heavy-duty rotomolded slide, more like the park playground than the flimsy single-wall slides our competitors use. A tried-and-true kid favorite, our monkey bars span 8-ft with the rungs at a height of 7.5-ft, which is recommended for kids age 5 and older and are tall enough for mom and dad to use too!
The upgraded two front posts have 1-inch holes (2-inch spacing on center) throughout to allow for more fitness attachments, such as J-cups, spotter arms, or a 15-ft climbing rope or rings attachment.
Outdoor wooden playsets will crack, warp, rot, and splinter and have to be stained or painted every year to prevent damage. All our backyard playsets are constructed of steel coated in a durable, UV-resistant, weather resistant plastic coating in a deep Forest Green with dark and light gray accents. All holes are pre-drilled for easy assembly. Robust metal design can be disassembled and reassembled to move with you.

SwingSesh equipment is designed to be easily installed using simple tools and takes two or three adults in 3-7 hours, depending on the model. View the timelapse installation video below or download the Installation Manual. Model-specific installation manuals are linked at the bottom of this page and can be found on each model's product page.
Step 1: Measure your Yard
The first step is to measure the space you want to dedicate to the play equipment. This will help you decide which model will fit your space best. The overall footprint and dimension for each model are shown on each product page. And remember, there are different configurations for each model that change the dimensions slightly and might make it a better fit for your site. Safety best practicesrecommend having a 6-ft wide clear area around the perimeter of the set.
As you're analyzing your site, don't forget to check the slope. You can work with a slope of about 8 inches over 20 feet. If your site is steeper than that, we recommend leveling it before installation. The more level the site, the easier installation will be!
You'll also want to put some thought into the final surfacing under your playset. Grass, mulch, rubber tiles, and artificial turf are all popular options. Check out this article for more details and pros/cons on playground surfacing options. Depending on your chosen surfacing, you might need some sitework in advance of installation. Reach out to us if you have any questions!
Step 2: Order your Set
Once you've measured your yard and decided on the perfect set, go ahead and place your order online. We have one of the easiest DIY installations, but if you'd like us to coordinate installation, add Installation Services to your cart. We'll reach out to you to get some more information and we'll ask you to send us pictures of the site. We'll contact local providers and coordinate installation dates with you.
Step 3: Accept the Delivery
Your set will arrive via LTL (less than truckload) freight and typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks after shipment confirmation but may take longer based on current conditions in the shipping market. Fitness playsets arrive packed in a large cratemeasuring 95"L x 50"W x 40"H and weighing 400-1500lbs (varies based on yourchosen options). If yourorder includes a slide,the slide will be a separate package. The crate will arrive in a large truck with a liftgate, and the driver will unload the crate, typically at the end of the driveway. Inspect the shipment upon delivery and note any visible damageon the paperwork provided by the deliverydriver.
Step 4: Installation - Choose Your Own Adventure...
Option 1: DIY Installation
You're pretty handy, have some basic tools, and a helpful father-in-law or trusty neighbor on speed dial. You can do this!
We haveone of the easiest playset installs on the marketso you can quickly get to playing! You'll need a level, step ladder 1/2" wrenches, and a 1/2" ratchet or impact drive for the earth anchors. Upgraded posts require 1 1/2" wrenches. Standalone sets require concrete footers.
With two or three peoplethat can easily lift 60 pounds the SlimSesh can be setup in 3-4 hours and a SuperSesh will take about 6-7 hours.
Pick the layout you want before uncrating and lay out the components accordingly.
If dads are involved, make sure someone is reading the directions! (Mom, see the links below for all the installation manuals!)
If you're adding a playground surfacing other than grass, the final step will be to add the playground surfacing of your choice!

Opt for our Installation Services, and we'll reach out shortly after you purchase to start coordinating installation. Once your set has been delivered, we'll finalize the date and time for installation with a chosen local provider.
Before the starting installation, you’ll want the site to be level within about 10 inches over 20 feet; our installation services don't include leveling, site work, or installation of playground surfacing.

Once your order is complete and ready to ship, you will receive a notification with tracking information once your order has shipped. Shipment times are in addition to order processing times. Why is a steel SwingSesh better than a traditional wood playset?
The heavy-duty steel used to construct each SwingSesh will stand the test of time, is low-maintenance, and moveable. Unlike wooden playsets, there’s no need to paint or stain it each year and you won’t have to worry about the structure cracking, warping, rotting, or splintering. Keep it looking as good as new by simply hosing it off once in a while.
Will my SwingSesh rust?
Extensive lab tests and real-world use of our thermoplastic coating indicate working life of over 70 years. Rust and corrosion are prevented with this durable, high-quality thermoplastic coating on all structural steel components. Small components like swing hardware are stainless steel or coated to prevent corrosion.
Will my SwingSesh fade from exposure to the sun?
The thermoplastic coating contains an extremely effective UV inhibitor that offers protection from harmful UV rays in even the most demanding environments. Additionally, the coating regulates the temperature of the steel - it won’t be too hot in the summer and won’t be too cold in the winter.
Is it easy to assemble?
Yes! Two adults can easily assemble a SwingSesh in a few hours. All the holes are pre-drilled and all the bolts use the same wrench. What makes SwingSesh’s slides better?
Our slides are rotomolded plastic, which means they have a double wall. They are larger, heavier, and stronger than slides you’ll find on most other residential playsets. Even better, they’re made right here in America!
How does the equipment anchor to the ground?
Earth anchors are provided with our sets (except standalone swing sets). The 18-inch aluminum screw-style earth anchors are inserted through a hole in post feet and securely anchor the set. Anchors are installed with a 1/2" square drive and the top sits flush to the ground. Anchors can be removed and reused in a new location. Standalone swing sets must be anchored in concrete; concrete anchors are provided.

This product has been engineered and manufactured for residential use. It is the responsibility of the owner and supervisors of this SwingSesh equipment to make sure all users obey the safety instructions provided with the equipment. The equipment is intended for use by children and adults two years of age and over; monkey bars are recommended for children five years of age and over. Children should only use the equipment under adult supervision. Do not let anyone use equipment until completely and properly assembled and anchored.
SAFE SURFACE & AREA: Place the equipment on level ground, not less than 6-ft from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires. Do not install the equipment over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet, or any other hard surface. A fall onto a hard surface can result in serious injury or death to the equipment user. It is recommended that the equipment be placed on a shock-absorbing surface. Shredded bark mulch, wood chips, fine sand, or fine gravel are considered to be acceptable shock absorbing surfaces when installed and maintained at a sufficient depth under and around the equipment. The equipment must be anchored to the ground.
PREVENT ENTAGLEMENT: To prevent entanglement and strangulation, dress children appropriately using well-fitting shoes and avoiding ponchos, scarves, jackets with neck drawstrings, cord-connected items, helmets with straps and other loose-fitting clothing that is potentially hazardous while using the equipment. These items can cause deal by strangulation.
TEACH CHILDREN: Adult supervisors must teach children the following: not to walk close to, in front of, behind, or between moving items; not to twist swing chains or ropes or loop them over the top support bar since this may reduce the strength of the chain or rope; to avoid swinging empty seats; to sit in the center of the swings with their full weight on the seats; not to use the equipment in a manner other than intended; not to get off equipment while it is in motion; not to climb when equipment is wet; and not to attach items to the equipment that are not specifically designed for use with the equipment.
USE OF SQUAT RACK ATTACHMENTS:Users must exercise extreme caution if electing to use a barbell with the squat rack attachment, sold separately. When actively using a barbell, the swings cannot be used. Never leave a racked barbell unattended and always remove the barbell from the squat rack when not in use.

Best Play-set out there
My wife and I value a health and wellness conscious lifestyle and promote those values to our kids. We wanted to purchase a ""play-set"" for the kids and lots of research comparing and contrasting play- sets. We were looking for something that was durable, functional and fun. I googled ""fitness play-set for kids"". I thought that if the kids play-set doubled as a workout station, it would extend the life of the set (meaning kids will use it for more years). I called SwingSesh and spoke directly with the owners of SwingSesh. They helped me design and customize my SwingSesh for our family (A+ customer service). Our primary goal was to make the playground fun. The set incorporated traditional play-set elements like a slide, monkeybars and swings. But, the swings double as a tool to do exercise on them such as inverted rows, the structure has a squat rack, boxes to jump on and we put up a rope climb. The set came on a huge pallet. The delivery service coordinated a convenient time to drop it off. There are a lot of pieces and initially I thought the installation of this thing was going to be a nightmare. My friend and I put the SwingSesh up in two 4 hour days. The instructions were brilliantly thought out and the pieces fit flawlessly. While constructing the play-set your get a real feel for the quality and durability. This is built like a crossbreed between a commercial playground and Rouge Fitness gym equipment. Everyone who has seen it has been impressed.

Solid SwingSesh
I've had the SwingSesh for a few months now. It's been through some record breaking rain storms and has remained absolutely solid, looking nearly brand new. It's a hulking play/exercise set that is thoughtfully built. I even looked at commercial outdoor fitness equipment before getting this, and this was more competitively priced and a better value. My daughter loves playing on the swings and it's so fun to get a great workout in while playing with her. Delivery was pretty smooth, but definitely the biggest thing I've had delivered. I made sure that the area was prepped beforehand and actually hired help to put it together. Definitely happy with the SwingSesh.
