The second annual HomeGymCon is happening soon, and you’re not gonna want to miss it! We attended last year and can tell you firsthand, it was a great experience and well worth the trip. We drove away saying that felt like summer camp for adults: made some new friends, enjoyed a beautiful resort, ate delicious food, won some $$ at the casino, and got to see all the home gym equipment we could dream of!

#1: Latest & Greatest Home Gym Equipment
Obviously, this is numero uno. If you’re interested in the most innovative fitness equipment and technology, HomeGymCon is the place to be! This year there will be nearly 70 vendors – including all the big names in the business. This is your chance to get your hands on any piece of equipment you could imagine – and some you’ve probably never even knew existed. It’s a great mix of small niche fitness businesses (Surplus Strength, Kleva Built, Homegrown Lifting, Executive Fit, Belt Fed Strength) and the well-known equipment manufacturers (Rogue, REP, Titan, Abmat). It's not all fitness equipment either. Have you heard of the GORX Fitness platform for microgyms? Want to try out all the great supplements and nutrition products 1st Phorm has to offer? HomeGymCon is where it's at! Not to mention, there’s sure to be some great deals if you’re looking to upgrade your own home gym.
#2: Great People, New Friends
We all have one thing in common: we prefer to workout at home. We appreciate the convenience, the peace and quiet, and the make-your-own-rules environment. But every once in a while, we miss the community that comes with a traditional gym. Here's your chance to meet some great like-minded folks. If you're active on the socials, you've probably interacted with lots of these people on the home gym pages, and this convention is a great chance to meet face-to-face.
With lots of small and medium businesses in attendance, it is also a great chance to meet the owners, founders, and creators behind your favorite products. It's a creative and innovative group of people with a strong entrepreneurial.spirit. You're sure to leave with a new friend or two!
#3: Compete in (or Witness) Feats of Strength
Fun new addition to the convention this year… competitions! There will be Strongman, Armlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, and Deadlift competitions throughout the weekend. Sign up to participate or come witness the feats of strength.
#4: French Lick Resort: A Historic & Family-Friendly Destination
Unless you’re like me and grew up in Southern Indiana, you’ve probably never heard of French Lick Resort. But I promise, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this beautiful historic resort and spa nestled in the rolling hills near Bloomington, Indiana. The French Lick Hotel – and sister resort West Baden Springs - have a storied past. Originally built around the wellness benefits of the natural mineral springs in the area, the resort drew people from all over the world in its heyday in the early 1900s. Visitors drank and bathed in the mineral water which was thought to cure a plethora of ailments, from constipation to stomach, kidney, and liver diseases. Due to its high sodium and magnesium sulfate content, the water had a strong laxative effect.
Today, you’ll find the resort offers a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
